It’s been a little bit since the last time I did a post for this series, so I thought why not do one about the lovely Genevieve Padalecki. If you don’t know who this is, Gen is the owner of the blog Now & Gen, she is also Jared Padalecki’s wife and played Ruby 2.0 in the fourth season of Supernatural. Gen inspires me because she is a great listener and a compassionate, fearless, smart, innovative, creative, loving, thoughtful, fashionable, caring, and considerate person.
Gen inspires me because she started something and made a whole new name for herself and built a brand behind it. That is an amazing accomplishment and I couldn't be more proud of her for doing it. Most of the time before she started the blog I noticed that she was recognized a lot as being Jared's wife. And of course, she was an actress and probably other things before she married Jared, but for people who have only known Supernatural, that was the first thing to come to our mind. But now since she has made the blog that is what she is being recognized for. And yes people knew Gen from her playing Ruby and possibly other shows. But some didn’t and that’s okay.
Now with her blog, she is going to lots of events where she gets to talk about what she is passionate about and speak her thoughts and being an activist. Now going to these events she is going because she is being recognized not only as an actress but as an owner of her blog. I absolutely love her blog and all that she writes about whether it be adventures she goes on with Jared and the kids or new styles she finds or recipes or books she’s reading, all of the things. I love seeing and reading it all.
Gen inspires me because of the amount of heart she has. The love that she gives to her family, to her friends, to her work, to the people who admire her and want to meet her as I do. It's so amazing to see and to hear about it. You can tell just by reading any of the articles she posts, seeing all the photos she posts, and hearing all the stories from people meeting her for the first time. Whether that be a fan of the show or her blog or someone she meets at an event or something. They all say how nice and sweet she is and it just warms my heart to hear those stories. The love that shows through all the photos, some might think that those photos are staged, that is a possibility, but I genuinely think that all of it is completely and utterly true. The smiles, the laughs, and love. All of it…is true.
Gen inspires me because she is such a great mother. It can be hard when Jared is away for work but she does an amazing job. From all the pictures I see that Gen or Jared shares with us I can see all the love and happiness that’s there and I know that Tom, Shep, and Odette are gonna grow up and become wonderful people and do amazing things just like their mom and dad. Gen inspires me because of how much she inspires everyone else. I hear lots of stories from people saying that they started something new because of Gen or that they started to think of themselves differently in a good way.
Gen inspires me because when she does something she puts her whole heart, mind, body, and soul into it. Things like her blog or the marathon she did with other members of the Supernatural cast. She and Jared are running another marathon again coming up soon in Austin. And she is working hard to train for it along with Jared. Gen inspires me because of what she writes about and the contents she puts out. Gen posts a variety of things on her blog and her social media. Some of it is about fashion and certain seasonal looks that she loves. About her family and the fun things they do together or the adventures, they go on. Or about things she is passionate about and charities she supports or being eco-friendly.
Gen inspires me because she is an activist and the fact that she wants to show that by going to events she is invited to or just going because she is interested or passionate about it, like OutYouth and Cultivate Kindness. When she is a guest at these events, she will speak her mind about the things that are important to her and even when she isn’t a guest, she’ll spread awareness about it through her social media where she has lots of followers and support from all of us.
