This movie is possibly one of the best, most inspirational movies I have ever seen. Some might think that this is an over exaggeration, but it’s not. I am being completely honest that Captain Marvel is a movie that inspires and is truly an amazing piece of work. The movie has an incredibly strong, badass superhero lead, who doesn’t let anyone stand in her way and doesn’t “need to prove anything to you”. The movie, the character, the entire thing is a huge inspiration to young girls and everyone else all over the world. Now, I’m about to go into complete fangirl mode on how amazing, talented, fabulous, actor Brie Larson is!! She did such a great job playing Captain Marvel. She was funny and caring, but also tough which I really liked.

When I was watching the movie, and I am not lying about this, less than a minute into the movie I already absolutely loved it. I also liked all the snarky one liners that made the action scenes in the movie all the more better. I appreciated how the movie can be interesting and fun to watch for any kind of people, whether people are huge marvel fans, or they have only seen a few of the movies, or if this is the first marvel movie they’ve either seen, etc. Although, people who have seen the marvel movies can recognize some things that reveal other things in the movie. Like Ronan being what Yon-Rogg sees in the form of the Central Intelligence because they show them the person they admire most. And if you have seen “Guardians of The Galaxy”, then you know that Ronan is the villain, which gave me the theory that Yon-Rogg was a villain.
I think it is a very good movie and representation for women and women empowerment. There isn’t a lot of female characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so I like seeing a new female to be added. I also enjoyed seeing how they strayed away from promoting the character as a “Her” and instead promoted her as a “Hero” in the trailer. I…absolutely…love…Goose! I loved him when I knew him as just a cat and then I learned that he was a flerken that had giant tentacles come out of his mouth and I loved him even more because that is awesome! I thought it was really interesting to see Nick Fury and Coulson before they got higher positions in S.H.I.E.L.D. and when they didn’t really know a lot about the superheroes in the world and what they do.
I loved every single thing about this movie. I wouldn’t change anything about it and I did not have any dislikes, what so ever. Another thing I liked about the movie was all the flashbacks and getting to learn more about Carol’s past and what happened to her and how she got her powers. It was interesting to watch it all unfold and for me personally, I like to analyze things and try to come up with theories about things. So, seeing the different flashbacks and trying to piece it all together was very interesting and for me and I enjoyed it a lot. I really, really liked Maria and her daughter, Monica. I loved their personalities, how Maria is just like Carol with the strong personality, not letting anyone get in her way. I liked how they kept all of Carol’s things, keeping her memory alive and not giving up on trying to figure out what happened to Carol.
When Carol was fighting Von-Rogg at the end of the movie and said, “I don’t have to prove anything to you”. I loved this line because it showed a lot of character development and growth of Carol and I really liked that. The visual effects and fight scenes in the movie were really cool and well done. It was interesting to see Carol learn more about her powers outside of the limits set out by the Central Intelligence people. Seeing how much power she truly has and fighting back against the Central Intelligence and the others. I would highly, highly, highly, recommend going to see this movie if you haven’t already. It’s really good, very well done, has an amazing story and even more amazing messages in it.
I love this movie <3 It's probably one of my favorite MCU movie and Captain Marvel is definitely one of my favorite hero. Goose, how much I love this cat....I hope that we'll see her in another movies. And yeah....Goose is a girl :)
